1 Defeating Healers and Shields in Tower Rush

There are few things more demoralizing in an arena battler than watching your opponent's massive tank completely regenerate its health bar.

This is exactly what the opponent wants; while you struggle to kill the Giant, the Healer is constantly undoing all your hard work.
The Golden Rule: Kill the Support First
You must find a way to bypass the massive meat shield in front and deliver high burst damage directly to the fragile healer in the back.

Deploy your assassin directly behind the enemy push, ensuring it locks onto the healer before the tank can turn around to protect it.
Tornado is the ultimate counter to healing auras.Splash damage units are decent, but often lack the burst damage required.Healing pushes are usually incredibly expensive (12+ elixir). Countering the Gimmicks
A cloned healer essentially doubles the healing output, turning the surrounding army into a literal immortal wall of hitpoints.

The definitive counter to any Clone strategy is a cheap, instant-cast splash spell like the Log, Zap, or Snowball.
Support Unit TypeHow it WorksHow to Stop ItFrontline SupportHeals herself and surrounding units every time she successfully lands a melee attackUse flying units she cannot hit, or drop a high-DPS unit directly on her head to kill her before she swingsInstant BurstJumps onto a group of units, providing a massive, instant burst of healingPlace a cheap distraction unit (like skeletons) in its path to force it to trigger early, wasting the heal entirely Patience and Precision
Take a deep breath, identify the primary healer, and execute your assassination plan flawlessly.

Once you learn to surgically remove the support structure of an enemy push, the most terrifying meta decks become trivial to defend.
